LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship 2023 is a CSR initiative of LIC Housing Finance Limited (LIC HFL) aimed at supporting the education of underprivileged students in India. Eligibility Criteria
Class 10 Passed Students:
- Must be enrolled in Class XI from any recognized board in India.
- Must have secured at least 60% marks in the 10th board examination.
- Family annual income should be below Rs 360,000/-.
Graduation Applicants:
- Must be enrolled in the first year of a 3-year graduation program (in any stream) at any recognized college/university/institution in India.
- Must have secured at least 60% marks in the 12th board examination.
- Family annual income should be below Rs 360,000/-.
Post-Graduation Applicants:
- Must be enrolled in the first year of a post-graduation program at any recognized college/university/institution in India.
- Must have secured at least 60% marks at the undergraduate level.
- Family annual income should be below Rs 360,000/-.

- Passport-size color photograph
- Proof of admission (School, College, University ID)
- Admission receipt for the current academic year
- Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter Card)
- Proof of Income Certificate issued by Government Authorities
- Merit Marksheet of Previous Examination
- Bank account passbook details
- Crisis Document (if applicable)
Selection Process
- Merit of the Applicant: Minimum 60% marks in the previous exam.
- Financial Need: Preference for students from lower-income families (Annual income below INR 3,60,000).
- Crisis Situation: COVID-affected children, students supported by a single parent, orphans, students with critically/terminally ill parents, or those from families experiencing job loss of an earning member in the last 12 months.
- Preference: Given to the girl child.
The selection process involves:
- Shortlisting based on academic merit and socio-economic background.
- Document verification.
- Telephonic interview with shortlisted candidates.
- Final selection by the scholarship provider.
